Our Story
Built by Boaters, for Boaters
Boathouse Marina was founded in the early 1990s by a family of lifelong Long Island boaters who believed the South Shore deserved a marina that put its customers first. What started as a modest dock with a handful of slips has grown into a full-service facility serving hundreds of vessels each season.
Over the decades we've expanded our docks, upgraded our pump-out facilities, added winter storage for boats and jet skis, and opened a candy and refreshments store right on the waterfront. But through all of it, the thing we're most proud of is the community that has grown up around this marina — the friendships formed on the docks, the families who've been coming here for generations, and the shared love of the water that brings everyone together.
Today, Boathouse Marina remains family-owned and operated. We know most of our slip holders by name, and we treat every transient guest like a neighbor. That's the Boathouse way.
